Rose Dawson
Financial Controller | Trustee
Rose is originally from Washington DC. She came to the Eastern Shore for the summer of 1981 and never went back. She met and married her husband Doug in 1990. The family began attending Coastal (then OCWC) in 1997. She began working for the church as a part-time bookkeeper in 2000. Today she fulfills the role of Financial Controller. Additionally, she serves as Fellowship Event coordinator, organizing opportunities for the Coastal congregation to come together as a family.
Fun Facts
Rose has an auto shop certificate from Barrett Chevrolet. She can work on her own car but she doesn’t want to.
Rose made her own wedding dress, complete with a train and beaded lace bodice. It took her a year to complete.
