1991-1995
Founded on Easter Sunday, March 31, 1991 as Ocean City Worship Center, the church met at Berlin Middle School for several months before moving services to Stephen Decatur High School, where services continued to meet for three years. During these years the church grew to 35 people. In the fall of 1994, the congregation moved to the Berlin Shopping Center. Within a matter of months the church tripled to nearly 100 on Sunday mornings.

1995 - 2015
By the fall of 1995, continued growth prompted another move and the church began meeting on Route 50 (currently Go Glass).
After a year the congregation had doubled again to nearly 200.
In January 2000, the Lord began directing the congregation toward moving once again to another facility.
This began the Capital Stewardship Campaign. In 2005, the Worship Center purchased 25 acres (our current location). In 2009, the Worship Center built a picnic pavilion on our new property, taking steps toward construction.
In 2010, a $600,000 Launching Out campaign began to prepare the land for phase one of our future campus. In 2015 we began our Get Ready Capital Campaign to finish getting the grounds prepared for construction, purchase building plans, bring electricity and sewer to the property, hire a builder, and begin construction on the new church building.

2016 - Today
2016 marked the 25th Anniversary of OCWC with a Sunday celebration service.
On Sunday, November 19th, 2017, surrounded by our pastors, elders and congregation, we officially broke ground on our new church building.
In February 2019, we dedicated our new building and officially became Coastal Community Church.
Coastal’s vision is to continue to help people encounter and follow Jesus by building thriving biblical communities on the Eastern Shore and beyond (Acts 2:42-47).

1975-2021
Faith Fellowship was founded in 1975 and spent it’s early days meeting in a bakery. In 1975, construction began on a building on the piece of land on Plantation Road which was given to the church by Bill Crockett.
Faith Fellowship Assembly of God was officially dedicated on November 16, 1975.
Through the years the building has undergone remodeling, a parsonage was built, a day care begun and an unattached building was erected with plans for more Sunday School rooms, a new kitchen, and an area for the youth

2021 - Today
On August 1, 2021, it was suggested at a deacons meeting to ask Coastal Community Church if their pastors would assist Faith in filling the pulpit on occasion.
After months of prayer and meetings with Coastal’s overseers and pastoral staff, Faith Fellowship became a part of Coastal Community Church in July of 2022.
Coastal’s vision is to continue to help people encounter and follow Jesus by building thriving biblical communities on the Eastern Shore and beyond (Acts 2: 42-47).
