Mike & Mary Tiller
Mike grew up in Maryland. Mary grew up in South Carolina. They met at Lee University in Tennessee in 1971, began dating in 1972, and were married in 1973. They have 3 adult children and 4 grandchildren. Mary has served her adult life in various church ministries, as an administrative assistant in 2 churches, and worship team member/worship leader. She retired from Coastal in 2023 after serving 10 years as the administrative assistant. Mike retired from Allstate after 32 years. He has served most of his adult life in 4 churches as an elder/overseer and in various other church ministries. He is currently serving as an overseer, a small group leader, and he is responsible for the church grounds. Together, he and Mary, are serving as Care Ministry Directors.
Fun Facts
Mike - When Mike first started dating Mary, he had hair - shoulder length hair! Mary - She calls her small group to dinner with a very LOUD “finger whistle”.
Mike -He currently works 4 part time jobs AND finds time to enjoy hunting and fishing. Mary - She was in the Ladies of Lee Choir that traveled by bus from Tennessee to California (singing in a different state each night), flew to Hawaii 4 days/3 nights, and bused back to Tennessee - all in 2 weeks.
