The Exchange : PT04 : The Ultimate Exchange (Christmas Eve)

For Christians, Christmas always presents a unique tension as we celebrate the gift of Jesus but also strive to simply enjoy the fun and nostalgia of the season. If we're not careful, though, some of the concepts in the secular can confuse and muddy our beliefs in the sacred. One key area where this happens is in our understanding of gift-giving. In the secular world, nothing is required of the recipient in receiving a gift. But when it comes to the gift of eternal life in Jesus, the Scriptures detail this as an "Exchange." God does, in fact, require a return from us in order for us to fully know His gift. This series will explore this in detail so that we can better receive and experience this gift this year.
